Types Of Numbers

         There Are Basically Three Types of numbers,

                      
                      1)Natural Numbers
         The natural numbers are also sometimes call the "Counting numbers" ,
           1,2,3,4,5,6, ....... are natural numbers
 
        In above diagram Numbers in Green color shows natural number

                      2)Whole Numbers
       Natural number along with zero are called as "Whole Numbers"
         0,1,2,3,4,5,6,..........are whole numbers

       In above diagram Numbers in Yellow color shows whole number

                      3)Integers
      Whereas, All Numbers Positive and negative except fractions are called as"Integers"
        ........... -3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3........ are Integers

    In above diagram Numbers in Blue color shows  Integers

               From Above Diagram we can say that natural numbers is subset of whole number and both natural and whole numbers are subset of integer

Face Value and Place Value

Face value =
          It is Indicative Value of Digit

Place Value =
        It is Actual value of Digit when it is placed at particular place in the number

For Example,

      1) Consider ,  Number  506700

                 Considering Digit 6 , Here face value of 6 is 6
                                                    And Place value of 6 is 6 x 1000 = 6000

       2) Consider ,  Number  3457894

                 Considering Digit 4 , Here face value of 4 is 4
                                                    And Place value of 4 is 4 x 100000 = 400000
